Lava Blaze 2 Review
The biggest problem with a phone under Rs 10,000 is that you don’t get a good software experience. You get to see a lot of bloatwares and it is very difficult to find a good phone with good specifications. But today I am going to talk about a phone that doesn’t have any of these.
I am talking about the Lava Blaze 2 phone. I tested this phone for a few days and I found out what are the cons and pros of this phone. Lava did a good job with this phone. First of all, we should know about the processor. Usually, budget phones have a lot of cost cutting.

This phone has a processor from UniSoC but it has a new processor T616. This processor is better than the market model P35 and G35. This phone has 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The storage is UFS 2.2. This means that if you open an app in this phone, it will open quickly.
Before this, UFS 2.2 storage was not available in this segment. This has a lot to do with the performance of this phone. Most phones that cost Rs 10,000 have eMMC storage. This makes this phone very good. The storage is good, the performance is good.
Talking about the software, it comes with a clean Android experience. But it doesn’t give you the stock Android experience. You may ask why? Because it has a lot of things like stock Android. It has changed some things. You can change the color settings of the display.
You can customize the navigation bar. It has a lot of customization options in the software. But the only thing missing from the software is bloatware. There is no bloatware. There are some pre-installed apps from Lava but I can’t consider it as bloatware. You can also see the support for FM radio.
Overall, the software is smooth and runs smoothly. But I think Android 12 is missing. But Lava has promised Android 13 update. Which is a good thing. If we see, Android updates are not promised in phones that cost under Rs 10,000. But Lava is promising it.
You can use dedicated microSD card slots and dual SIM in this phone. I checked 4G and it was running smoothly. I tested it with Jio SIM. I didn’t face any network related issues. People demand for automatic call recording. And this phone has that feature. You can watch anonymous auto call recording.
If you are thinking of a phone with an automatic call recording feature, this phone can be for you. Lava has done a good job by adding this feature. Let’s talk about some other things. The display panel is 6.5 inches. It comes with hole punch design. You can hide the hole punch. This feature is also given in the settings.
It has HD plus resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. HD plus resolution is good for the price. And refresh rate is also good. If you are thinking if it has Widevin L1 support. No, it doesn’t have Widevin L1 support. It comes with L3 support. Which is not available in phones that cost Rs 10,000. This feature is not available in other phones.
It has a similar story with its sensors. It has proximity accelerometer. But gyroscope sensor is missing. It is not available in other phones in this segment. But it has a lot of features. Like the glass build. You can see the glass in front and back. Although, we don’t know which glass it is.

But it gives a premium look and feel to the phone. The frame is made of plastic. But the design and looks are good. The color I have is called glass orange. It looks funky. This color is special. The battery is 5000 mAh. It supports USB type C charging. And supports 18W fast charging.
This package is good for Rs 10,000. It has a side mounted fingerprint scanner. Usually, fingerprint scanner is used in this range. But it is used in this range. The camera is dual camera setup. But the main camera is 13MP. We took some images. You can see the images. The selfie camera is 8MP.
The price is reasonable. Don’t expect too much. But you will get a good experience. I want to tell you something special about Lava. Lava is working on a service that other companies neglect. And that is after sale service. Do you know that you get free home service with Lava? If you have any problem, you can come home and get it fixed.
You don’t have to go to the service center. It looks like the company is working on after sale service. The phone is good overall. The design and performance is good. And it delivers all the things according to Rs 9,000. It delivers a better experience than other phones in the market.
But the on paper specification and the package is good. I liked the phone at Rs 9,000. Tell me in the comments how you liked the phone.
